Senior Executive, Payroll - Bukit Merah - Up to $5500

• Lead and execute end-to-end payroll operations, including payroll processing and salary disbursement, employee data maintenance and verification, Government claims, CPF contributions, IR8E Form submission, bonus provisions, financial close activities, compliance, and resolution of payroll queries.
• Direct daily financial operations associated with payroll, including weekly, month-end and year-end account closings.
• Supervise the full payroll cycle, ensuring seamless execution and compliance throughout all stages.
• Take ownership of payroll execution, performing hands-on processing, checking, reconciliation, issue resolution, and timely completion of payroll cycles.
• Prepare and perform monthly GL payroll postings and bank reconciliations, ensuring payroll-related financial records are accurate, complete, and promptly reconciled.
• Conduct ongoing reviews to maintain compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory standards.
• Advise on structure and team development to optimize operational efficiency within the payroll function.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and tax agents, ensuring transparency and accuracy in payroll-related matters.
• Serve as the principal liaison for Finance and HR partners, fostering organizational readiness and alignment with business objectives
• Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and initiative

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Accountancy, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant payroll experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Employment Act and CPF Act
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a transactional setting.
• Meticulous approach with a strong commitment.
• Effective leadership skills, collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and customer-driven mindset.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft.
• Hands-on experience with SAP systems and/or shared is highly advantageous
