Senior Facultative Broker

Roles & Responsibilities

• As first point of contact for day-to-day communication with Facultative accounts, follow up on correspondences and manage/maintain communications.
• Develop and communicate an understanding of client businesses, research on industry issues.
• Work with the Actuarial and Analytics Department and create a narrative to secure optimal solution for the clients.
• Collect insights and information on relationship satisfaction and report results to the Senior Management offering context and suggestions when needed to best ensure account satisfaction and retention.
• Acquire fluency in the Company's various service offerings and market trends to enrich work performed and develop sales capabilities.
• A business producer, develop new business by actively sourcing additional business from existing clients as well as through new clients to accelerate revenue growth.

Required Knowledge &Skills

• Degree in any discipline, preferably with MAS CGI, ACII, Chartered Insurance Practitioner or other relevant professional (re)insurance certifications
• 5-8 years of experience in the reinsurance industry with knowledge of Facultative reinsurance and client-facing experience
• Possess a strong network with the reinsurers in the South-East Asia Region
• Mature and independent
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to details
• Articulate, excellent verbal and written communication in English, other language skills would be an added advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficient in MS 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
