Senior Finance Executive

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to be part of the Finance Business Partner team overseeing daily financial operations for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial operations (e.g., inter-department billing, fixed assets, journal postings).
• Foster relationships with central shared services teams, and other functional partners.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Submit grant claims to funding agencies promptly with adequate supporting documentation for audits.
• Advise on financial matters and ensure compliance with company funding agencies’ policies.
• Contribute to enhancing financial processes for operational efficiency.
• Review and ensure compliance with tax filings (e.g., GST, withholding tax, claims).
• Assist during financial year-end closing to record transactions accurately and meet deadlines.
• Support annual fixed assets verification, adhering to procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with other finance functions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience.
• Auditor with grant audit experience are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with SAP and/or experience is advantageous.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mature and collaborative across all organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently or in teams, with awareness of deadlines.
• Self-motivated and capable of multitasking.
