Our client is an established business within the Retail sector and they are looking for a Senior Executive Inventory Control to join them.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will oversee stock integrity and audit procedures across various distribution points, storage facilities, and food and beverage venues. Primary responsibilities include managing scheduled physical counts, cross-referencing on-site counts with digital ledgers, investigating stock discrepancies, and documenting operational waste or adjustments. The individual will also track usage patterns to detect variances, update central database applications, and partner closely with logistics and finance departments to maintain compliance with established corporate governance guidelines.

To qualify for this position, applicants should possess a tertiary qualification in accounting, supply chain management, or a commercial discipline, complemented by 1-2 years of operational tracking or stock auditing experience, preferably within consumer goods or hospitality environments. Proficiency in standard spreadsheet applications and broad enterprise resource planning platforms is essential. Candidates must demonstrate high attention to detail, strong analytical capability for identifying data anomalies, and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, along with the flexibility to visit different operational sites.
