Senior Finance Executive (Jurong)

We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our team of finance professionals as an Senior Finance Executive. You will be an integral part of the finance function, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Your responsibilities will encompass covering the full spectrum of the accounts function, which includes:

Accounts Receivables:

Ø Responsible for obtaining timely payments from customer within agreed payment terms and reducing accounts receivable outstanding.

Ø Perform day to day accounts receivable transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivable data.

Ø Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Ø Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.

Ø Issue credit note.

Ø Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers.

Ø Generate statements of accounts detailing accounts receivable status.

Ø Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Accounts Payable:

Ø Prepare and collate supporting documents for payment setup.

Ø Match payments in the accounting system.

Ø Maintain digital copies of the payment documents.

Ø Perform reconciliation of statement of account between company and the insurers.

Ø Investigate, sort, liaise and resolve reconciling items.

Ø Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

What We Look For:

Ø Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.

Ø Must have minimum 2 years of related working experience in a similar role.

Ø Candidates with prior working experience in FMCG firm will have an added advantage.

Ø Familiarity with Autocount Accounting System, Microsoft Office Software and Business Center 365 would be advantageous.

Ø Good verbal and written skills.
