Senior Finance Manager

About the Company

Our Client is a global distributor of industrial and electronic components serving customers in automation, manufacturing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager with regional exposure and experience in integration and building a high-performing team.

• Lead or collaborate in the development of business cycle planning and strategic initiatives;
• Provide support and insights to team leaders across Southeast Asia, aiding in decision-making and performance enhancement;
• Manage profit and loss responsibilities and drive process improvements to enhance financial performance;
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all regional and group reporting requirements;
• Manage mergers and acquisitions, including integration processes;
• Supervise audit and statutory accounts;
• Oversee all direct and indirect taxation matters across all markets;
• Ensure that all practices adhere to regional laws and regulations;
• Manage credit and ensure effective cash, treasury, and risk management;
• Ensure robust governance and control mechanisms are in place;

Requirements

• Professional qualifications in accounting (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent;
• Experience working in large enterprises with regional exposure;
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience, with prior experience in a senior position;
• Proven team management and leadership skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams;
• Strong business acumen with excellent analytical, insight generation, and communication skills;
• Proficiency in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and providing decision support to leadership team;
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to organisational growth;
• Good communication skills.
