Senior Finance Project/Program Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution, adoption, and value realization.

• Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope, success metrics, timelines, resourcing, and governance.

• Apply structured program and project management practices to plan, complete, monitor, and reduce risks in multi-phase initiatives.

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; advance as needed.

• Lead process initiatives embedded within programs, including defining scope, success measures, and improvement opportunities.

• Establish and monitor benchmarks to track delivery progress, process performance, and business impact.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment and accountability.

• Facilitate cross-functional process reviews and improvement efforts to reduce difficulties.

• Inspire change management activities, including communication, training, UAT coordination, and operational readiness.

• Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership.

• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising good judgment and aligning with organizational standards and legal requirements.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled improvements within one’s scope of work.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, program/project management, or improvement-focused initiatives.

• Demonstrated history of managing extensive, cross-functional initiatives that deliver quantifiable outcomes.

• Experience leading initiatives that include process improvement and operational change.

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt considered with strong leadership experience).

• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience with Finance systems and AI platforms.

• Strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed organization.

• Ability to apply baseline digital proficiency and role-appropriate AI literacy. Use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
