Senior FX Advisory & Product Solutions (Private Banking)

Our client is a growing international private bank seeking an experienced FX professional to lead its FX Advisory and Product Solutions function.

This is a high-impact role for an individual who combines deep foreign exchange expertise with strong advisory capabilities and a commercial mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving FX product strategy, supporting frontline teams with actionable investment ideas, and managing the end-to-end FX product platform across the private banking business.

Key Responsibilities

FX Advisory & Investment Solutions

• Partner closely with Client Advisors and Relationship Managers to provide timely FX market insights, trade ideas and client solutions
• Translate macroeconomic views, market developments and research into actionable investment themes and recommendations
• Provide specialist support on FX-related client requests and opportunities
• Deliver training and market updates to frontline teams to enhance FX knowledge and advisory capabilities
• Act as the subject matter expert for all FX-related matters within the bank

Product Management & Platform Ownership

• Drive the development and management of the bank's FX product platform across major FX asset classes
• Ensure product offerings remain competitive, relevant and aligned with client needs
• Manage relationships with external counterparties, liquidity providers and market participants
• Ensure robust governance, controls and regulatory compliance across the product lifecycle
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance and Technology to ensure seamless product delivery
• Oversee product performance, reporting and management information systems to support business growth and regulatory requirements

Commercial Leadership

• Own and drive the FX product business, including revenue generation and profitability objectives
• Support business growth through proactive idea generation and client engagement initiatives
• Contribute to internal and external investment publications, presentations and marketing materials
• Identify opportunities to enhance client penetration and wallet share through FX solutions

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-15 years of relevant experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management, Treasury, Global Markets or FX Advisory
• Strong understanding of FX products, market dynamics and investment solutions
• Experience working closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors or Client Advisors
• Proven ability to communicate market views and generate actionable investment ideas
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple functions
• Commercially driven with a strong understanding of business and revenue objectives
• Experience in product governance, platform management or product development would be advantageous
