Senior Investment Associate

The Right Profile

Our Investment team is responsible for designing, managing and continuously improving Syfe's managed portfolios. This includes portfolio construction, manager selection, performance monitoring and investment research, as well as developing scalable investment tools and insights for clients. We are looking for a Senior Investment Associate to help expand the team's portfolio capabilities and support the continued growth of Syfe's investment platform.

This role will work closely with portfolio management, product and regional teams to ensure Syfe's portfolios are robust, scalable and well governed across markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Monitoring and Implementation: Monitor multi-asset portfolio performance and risk while supporting daily execution, rebalancing, and the optimisation of scalable trading processes. 
• Quantitative and Investment Research: Conduct quantitative analysis on factor exposures and risk drivers to inform asset allocation, portfolio construction, and continuous product enhancements.
• Cross Regional Portfolio Coordination: Liaise across geographies, including Hong Kong and Australia, to coordinate portfolio monitoring, trading activities, and regional implementation strategies. 
• Manage Due Diligence and Investment Research: Perform rigorous due diligence and ongoing monitoring of ETFs and funds to evaluate performance, structural risks, and potential vehicle replacements.
• Investment Process and Tooling: Develop internal analytics and automated workflows to strengthen investment governance and ensure operational robustness as the platform scales.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or portfolio strategy
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate investment insights into clear conclusions
• High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
• Basic Python proficiency required, particularly for working with data and portfolio analytics
• Experience applying AI tools within investment workflows and operations, including the ability to experiment with and help deploy AI enabled solutions at scale
