Senior Lead, Structured Trade Finance

A leading international bank is hiring a senior structured trade specialist to lead its Structured Trade Finance franchise across ASEAN. The role combines regional revenue leadership with industry-sector ownership in Industrials, and is central to the bank's transaction banking growth strategy.

The Role

Lead origination, structuring, and execution of bespoke structured trade and working capital solutions for Corporate and FI clients across ASEAN. Own the regional revenue budget , driving growth through proactive client engagement, marquee transaction structuring, and replication of solutions across the portfolio. Represent the franchise with regional management, coverage, product, and risk stakeholders, and contribute to global product strategy. Build, mentor, and govern a team of experienced transactors across the region, and partner closely with coverage, sales, markets, legal, and risk teams to deliver embedded, scalable solutions.

Products in Scope

Receivables purchase and securitisation, supplier and distributor finance programs, prepayment structures, back-to-back facilities, structured commodity financing, and syndicated transactions - often delivered alongside third-party platforms and fintech partners.

Ideal Candidate

• 12+ years' banking experience, with 5-10 years leading complex / bespoke structured trade transactions
• Track record of building business franchise and engaging senior clients across multiple ASEAN and South Asia markets
• Strong commercial, credit, and legal-structuring acumen across multiple jurisdictions
• Hands-on with receivables programs, supply-chain finance, distributor finance, and platform / fintech-enabled trade
• Articulate communicator able to balance brevity with technical depth
• Comfortable operating as both senior individual contributor on marquee deals and leader of a specialised team
