Senior Portfolio Manager

Key Duties

• Build and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients by sourcing, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities across diverse sectors.
• Engage C-suite executives through proactive outreach and high-impact telephone-based consulting to identify challenges and position Alpha's risk-management solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, uncovering strategic needs and educating them on relevant financial market solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts and strategists to build and present tailored risk-management strategies, progressing toward independently developing solutions.
• Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with existing clients to retain business and drive portfolio growth.
• Transition into managing execution and dealing activity for an expanding portfolio, operating within the world's largest traded markets.
• Maintain high accountability and commercial ownership, operating with an entrepreneurial mindset supported by senior mentors and best-in-class technology.

Skills Required

• Strong client acquisition and business development skills, with the ability to identify and qualify high-value opportunities across sectors.
• Confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging C-suite executives through consultative, telephone-based outreach.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and risk-management solutions, with a genuine interest in FX, IR, and related instruments.
• Ability to analyse client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop and present tailored financial strategies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of commercial ownership and accountability.
• Relationship-building skills that support long-term client retention and portfolio growth.

Education

A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is a bonus. However, relevant work experience is equally valued and may substitute formal qualifications.
