Our Singapore entity, Associated Foreign Exchange (Singapore) Pte Ltd, is seeking to expand its team with the following role:
Senior Portfolio Manager
Key Duties
Build and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients by sourcing, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities across diverse sectors.
Engage C-suite executives through proactive outreach and high-impact telephone-based consulting to identify challenges and position Alpha's risk-management solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, uncovering strategic needs and educating them on relevant financial market solutions.
Collaborate with analysts and strategists to build and present tailored risk-management strategies, progressing toward independently developing solutions.
Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with existing clients to retain business and drive portfolio growth.
Transition into managing execution and dealing activity for an expanding portfolio, operating within the world's largest traded markets.
Maintain high accountability and commercial ownership, operating with an entrepreneurial mindset supported by senior mentors and best-in-class technology.
Skills Required
Strong client acquisition and business development skills, with the ability to identify and qualify high-value opportunities across sectors.
Confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging C-suite executives through consultative, telephone-based outreach.
Solid understanding of financial markets and risk-management solutions, with a genuine interest in FX, IR, and related instruments.
Ability to analyse client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop and present tailored financial strategies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of commercial ownership and accountability.
Relationship-building skills that support long-term client retention and portfolio growth.
Adaptability and eagerness to develop dealing and execution capabilities over time.
Results-driven with strong self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a performance-oriented environment.
Education
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is a bonus. However, relevant work experience is equally valued and may substitute formal qualifications.
