Senior Vice President

JOB SUMMARY

Management member of the biggest Hard Disk (HD) media manufacturing plant in Resonac group, supporting COO especially from corporate strategy and financial management viewpoint. Carry out function to secure the internal control system for maintaining and improving compliance with governance laws.

Coordinate various inter-sites management activates with head quarter in Japan, and other HD subsidiaries in Malaysia and Japan.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop financial KPI target for the hard disk manufacturing plant operation and direct the plant wide annual and half yearly budgeting, as a subsidiary of HD business division, to achieve management objective and financial target for the overall business division.
2. Perform financial gap analysis between budget, updated forecast, and result, and propose countermeasure to improve profit and cash flow.
3. Develop operational cost control strategy to improve cost competitiveness of the company and initiate the company wide cost reduction project.
4. Develop effective relationship with Singapore local banks to perform optimization for cash management.
5. Supervise Tax accounting process to reduce transfer pricing risk, including interaction with tax consultancy and IRAS.
6. Strengthen the operational process and company structure to fully utilize the advantage of the company’s location in Singapore (Human resource, infrastructure, and regulation) to improve competitiveness among world hard disk industry and maximize the value provision to customers.
7. As the biggest mass-production site among Resonac HD business, maximize the synergies with other Resonac HD media manufacturing sites.
8. Accelerate the penetration of Resonac group management policy and core value inside the company.
9. Develop and improve the internal control system (under J-SOX) to achieve and maintain the high degree of reputation and reliability among the international community. Monitor the change for regulation and maintain 100% legal compliance in Singapore, with employing any third party resources such as consultant and legal professionals.
10. Increase the recognition of the company and develop and keep good relationship with domestic and international stakeholders (Vendors, banks, neighborhood companies, and Singapore government).
11. Other managerial tasks assigned by COO and Top management at Resonac business division in Japan.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualification

• Master Degree is required.
• Japanese communication skill to enable to fully communicate with the management members in Japan is required.

Experience & Skills required

• Experience in MNCs, preferably in Hard Disk or Electronics related
• Experience for directing company wide annual financial budgeting (PL/BS/CF), and gap analysis (budget vs actual result) especially for production cost, including labor cost, factory operational cost and depreciation etc.
• Experience in negotiating with banks for better condition for financial facilities and efficient cash management.
• Experience in management of documentation for transfer pricing related transactions.
• Experience in introducing the process level internal control system under J-SOX.
• Experience in interaction with top management with other affiliated companies outside Singapore.
