Senior Vice President, Avaloq

Job Description

• Software development, analysis, solution design, and testing. 
• Implementation of new and maintenance of existing functionality. 
• Development based on guidelines and standards. 
• Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality. 
• Develop new user-facing features and functionality for our applications. 
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability. 
• Support project proposals and initiatives. 
• Support the success of a work stream by ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission. 
• Support team members with other project activities. 
• Support Synpulse growth in software development through initiatives, tools, development and process improvement. 
• Manage a team of developers by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities through mentorship.   
• Ensure that deliverables are within the work effort estimate, cost and with quality.   
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one higher programming language and object-oriented concepts.   
• Advanced knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, PL/SQL).   
• Experience with web-oriented technologies is an advantage (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS).  
• Experience with Angular JS is an advantage.   
• Analytical, structured, and efficient way of working.  
• Interested in banking and financial industry.  
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience.  
• Excellent spoken and written English.  
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
