Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Deployment and Releases with DevOps solutions using Jenkins, Bitbucket and Aldon.
• Plan and Execute technical and environment setup in SIT, UAT and Production implementation.
• Support User (front to back office) requirements and formulate functional and technical design documents. Familiar with the end-to-end Collateral Operations, Settlement Operation, Regulatory Reporting and management, including Initial Margin (IM) and Variation Margin (VM) margining processes.
• Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, delivery testing, and implementation.
• Implementation of FIS product Apex Collateral system
• New Project to embark on the major software upgrade of FIS Apex Collateral System to Rel 22.x. This is to support and fully compliance to SWIFT messaging platform to align with ISO 20022 & SCRIPS standards.
• Support of end to end testing for Front Office, Back Office, Middle Office and downstream systems
• Work with internal Change Control Management for deployment of changes.
• Work with internal infrastructure and security teams on implementations.
• Prepare and track the outstanding issue list and communicate to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• More than 5 years working experience, with at least 3 years of Technical Implementation/development/business analysis and projects/changes implementation experience in the financial industry, direct exposure treasury business is preferred.
• Strong in Technical skills. With Project Management skills, functional domain, technical background and experience at least 2 SDLC full project life cycle.

• Technical skills required are: Windows, SQL Server, MQ, Linux, Unix, Java, SFTP/ Connect Direct (CD) and Batch scripting
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Willingness to learn and keep an open mind for any new systems come along
• Preference given to candidates with Capital Markets, Collateral management and vendor-based software implementation and system solutions delivery in a banking environment.

Preferred Requirements:

·       Some domain knowledge of Collateral management, Treasury products, Back-office processes, Trade Reconciliation, Risk and Regulatory Reporting.

·       Experiences in Migrating of applications from one platform to another.

• Experience in Murex Collateral Management, FIS Apex Collateral system are added advantages
• Windows, Java and Unix Batch Scripting
• Technical understanding of Java, Messaging Queue, SQL query, SWIFT MT, SFTP, Connect Direct, BMC monitoring tools and Aldon.
• Understanding of Enterprise systems in Banking IT, job scheduling tools such as Control-M, DevOps, Aldon, NetBackup or Autosys
• Fast Learner and take initiatives to proactively manage and track Projects, CRs, Production Fixes and New requests.
