The Company
Our client is a well-established and rapidly expanding Food & Beverage group with operations across the region. With a strong footprint, the business is continuing to scale and invest in its finance capabilities and is seeking a hands-on and commercially driven Senior Finance Manager/Assistant Financial Controller
The Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead a team and drive excellence and strengthening of finance processes. Your responsibilities include:
• Support the Group Senior Financial Controller in financial strategy formulation and execution
• Oversee and lead the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
• Drive financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A analysis
• Lead the preparation of management reports, Board papers, and financial insights to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant reporting requirements
• Partner with external stakeholders including auditors, tax consultants, and bankers
• Champion process improvements and system enhancements, particularly in a relatively manual environment
• Lead and develop a sizeable finance team (10+ staff), providing coaching, structure, and direction
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to improve existing workflows
• Support ad-hoc projects, business initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA / CA or equivalent preferred
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a leadership capacity
• Audit background with strong commercial exposure, particularly in financial consolidation, Accounting and FP&A
• Industry experience in F&B, Retail, FMCG, or other high-volume transactional businesses
• Demonstrated experience managing large teams
• Strong track record in process improvement and transformation
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, with a team-oriented mindset
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing teams
• Solid Excel skills and overall strong analytical capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
