The Company
Our client is a fast-growing, globally established organisation within the high tech equipment manufacturing space, known for its strong operational capabilities and continued expansion across international markets. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking a FP&A Manager (Costing) to join their dynamic team.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving financial planning, analysis, and business partnering across global operations.
You will work closely with regional teams and manufacturing sites to provide actionable insights on cost structures, performance, and strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong exposure to manufacturing costing and operations.
• Support global budgeting and forecasting cycles, including consolidation across regions and business units
• Prepare monthly management reports covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key KPIs
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting financial performance
• Partner closely with operations and plant teams on cost analysis, including:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Product costing
- Material, labour, and overhead costs
- Cost allocation methodologies
• Conduct profitability and margin analysis at product, customer, and site levels
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, investment decisions, and business cases
• Monitor capex and ROI performance in line with business plans
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives (e.g., Power BI)
• Act as a business partner to stakeholders across functions and regions, supporting strategic decision-making
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and management presentations
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Proven experience in FP&A and business partnering roles
• Strong exposure to manufacturing environments, with a solid understanding of:
- BOM, product costing
- Material, labour, and overhead costs
- Cost allocation methodologies
• Experience within equipment manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Prior regional or global exposure with multinational stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills (financial modelling, advanced formulas, data analysis)
• Hands-on, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support regional sites
