Our client is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead to support business-critical initiatives across payments, digital assets, and emerging financial infrastructure.
This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, product, compliance, and technology, and will play a key role in driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and driving outcomes across multiple workstreams. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy building and scaling new initiatives, solving business challenges, and operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Beyond execution, the role requires sound commercial judgement, the ability to align diverse stakeholders, and a proactive approach to turning strategic objectives into measurable outcomes.
Drive strategic and operational initiatives across multiple business functions
Work closely with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive execution priorities
Partner closely with business, product, operations, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives
Translate business objectives and opportunities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Coordinate stakeholders across internal teams and external partners, including financial institutions, payment providers, technology vendors, and ecosystem partners
Support the launch and scaling of new products, services, partnerships, and market initiatives
Support the evaluation, development, and commercialization of new products, services, and business opportunities
Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and execution risks, and drive appropriate solutions
Establish and improve operational frameworks, workflows, and governance processes where required
Track initiative progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery against business objectives
Act as a key driver of outcomes, taking ownership of initiatives from problem identification through execution and delivery
Prepare materials, updates, and recommendations for leadership discussions and decision-making
The successful candidate will be someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, influence stakeholders across multiple functions, and independently drive initiatives forward. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy solving business problems, launching new initiatives, and operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience within fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, digital assets, blockchain, or technology-driven businesses
Proven experience driving business-critical initiatives involving business, product, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, make sound decisions, and drive initiatives with limited guidance
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities and a high degree of ownership
Experience supporting the launch, scaling, or commercialization of products, services, or business initiatives
Experience working directly with senior leadership, business heads, founders, or executive stakeholders would be advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
