SVP, Equities & Crypto Product Management Lead, Consumer Banking Group (WD83593)

Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Equities & Crypto Product Manager to lead our listed investments and digital assets product franchise across Retail and Treasures segments. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from stock exchanges, brokers or fintech trading platforms, combined with exposure to regulated crypto / digital asset products, to design simple, compelling and well‑governed client offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Equities & Crypto Product team, setting product strategy and roadmap for single‑stock, ETFs, equity‑linked and digital asset products across all wealth channels.

• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle: market scanning, business case, approvals, launch, pricing, ongoing governance, client communication and product retirement.

• Design and maintain a competitive shelf of equities, ETFs and listed/pooled crypto solutions (e.g. funds, structured products), aligned to the bank’s risk appetite and house views.

• Partner with digital, trading and platform teams to deliver intuitive self‑directed and advised journeys for both equities and crypto, especially via mobile and online channels.

• Build and manage relationships with stock exchanges, brokers, market makers, custodians and crypto infrastructure or liquidity providers to enhance product breadth, execution quality and operational robustness.

• Drive commercial performance of the equities and crypto franchises, including penetration, AUM, turnover, revenue, product mix and digital adoption metrics.

• Establish and maintain strong product governance frameworks for both traditional securities and digital assets, including suitability, risk disclosures, conduct standards and regulatory compliance.

• Monitor global market, regulatory and technology developments in equities and digital assets, and translate these into client‑relevant product ideas and platform enhancements.

• Collaborate with CIO/advisory, structured products and funds teams to create thematic baskets, model portfolios and campaigns that integrate equities and digital asset exposures where appropriate.

• Provide leadership, coaching and subject‑matter guidance to the team and frontline, building understanding of both equity market microstructure and the evolving digital asset ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10–15 years’ experience in equities product management, trading platforms or securities business within a bank, stock exchange, brokerage or fintech, with meaningful exposure to crypto / digital assets.

• Track record of leading product teams and delivering commercial results in a wealth or retail investment context

• Deep understanding of equity markets, exchanges, brokerage operations and how execution, pricing and fees impact client outcomes.

• Experience with regulated crypto / digital asset offerings (e.g. ETPs, funds, broker or platform integration, custody considerations, risk frameworks).

• Strong stakeholder skills and ability to partner with distribution, CIO/advisory, risk, compliance, legal, operations and technology.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex market, product and digital asset concepts in clear language to both clients and senior management.

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, relevant local licensing / regulatory modules) are an advantage.
