Technology Advisory Director/Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Director to lead and develop our IT audit and technology risk practice. The role oversees client engagements while supporting revenue growth, profitability, and business expansion.

Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for a Manager-level role, focusing on leading IT audits and contributing to technology risk advisory services.

As IT Audit Director, you will provide strategic advisory services to clients on IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance, while building a strong team and enhancing the firm’s market presence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit plan aligned with client and firm objectives.

• Lead and oversee client engagements across IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, business continuity and disaster recovery, and IT governance including vendor management.

• Provide practical, value-added recommendations to improve clients’ risk management and internal control environments.

• Review engagement deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, MAS TRM).

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and identify new business opportunities.

• Contribute to proposal preparation, presentations, and business development initiatives.

• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and team utilization to ensure effective delivery and profitability.

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and team members to enhance technical and leadership capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, or advisory services, including leadership experience.

• Candidates with 5–7 years of relevant experience may be considered for a Manager-level role.

• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and contributing to revenue growth.

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of IT governance and risk frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001).

• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
