Trade Finance Specialist

In line with business expansion, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Operations & Transaction Processing

• Execute the full lifecycle of Documentary Trade transactions, including Letter of Credit (LC) Issuance, Advising, Confirmation, Negotiation, and Documentary Collections.
• Manage LC amendments, review underlying commercial contracts, and verify all documentation to ensure favorable terms.
• Process and settle all trade finance transactions accurately and within established timelines.

2. Documentation, Compliance & Reporting

• Handle full sets of shipping and trade documents, meticulously checking them for strict compliance, accuracy, and adherence to international trade guidelines (e.g., UCP 600, ISBP).
• Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and prepare comprehensive trade finance reports as required by management.

3. Cash Flow Monitoring & Discrepancy Resolution

• Monitor import payments, export receipts, and incoming/outgoing remittance transactions.
• Proactively liaise with bank operations teams to investigate and promptly resolve any transactional discrepancies or operational issues.

4. Relationship & Credit Management

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key financing banks and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational workflows.
• Liaise with banking partners regarding the utilization, optimization, and negotiation of existing and potential credit lines.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

•        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
•        High attention to detail and risk awareness to ensure accuracy and mitigate financial risks.
•         Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•         Proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with bankers and financial institutions.
•         Meticulous, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to speak with mandarin-speaking only stakeholders.

Salary range:SGD4,500-SGD 8,000
