URGENT HIRE: ACCOUNTANT (Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for managing the entire set of accounts.
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments or other projects as required.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, corporate tax computations, GST returns, and fulfill all statutory obligations in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and prepare budgets and/or forecasts.
• Communicate and work with external auditors, company secretaries, tax authorities, bankers, and other professionals.

Requirements:

• Hold a professional accounting qualification with an accounting degree or equivalent.
• Possess strong numerical competency and a scientific approach with a sensitivity to numbers.
• Have over 3 years of experience, with at least 2 years in auditing, and preference given to those with supervisory experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Display strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and commitment to tasks and deadlines.
• • Maintain a positive attitude towards problem-solving, proactivity, and exhibit good interpersonal communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• • Possess sound knowledge of MS applications and computerized accounting systems.
• • Be available to work on alternate Saturdays.
