Vice President, Fund Finance (Job ID: 10077881)

Job Responsibilities:

As Vice President Fund Finance, you will be an instrumental team member in driving the success of the fund finance business across APAC. Your day-to-day activities will involve working collaboratively with senior colleagues to originate and execute complex transactions for a diverse client base and contribute to further expansion of Fund Finance APAC portfolio.

• You will be responsible for managing all credit-related matters from initial assessment through to closing, ensuring each deal meets underwriting standards and is consistent with MUFG strategy. Responsibilities include conducting due diligence, preparing and negotiating term sheet, preparing and submitting credit applications, managing documentation, and supporting closing operation.

• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships by collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners to support the overall fund finance proposition.

• Deliver high-quality client service by preparing financing proposals, presenting innovative ideas, and offering comprehensive execution support throughout deal lifecycles.

• Monitor portfolio compliance diligently by coordinating regular reviews, ensuring adherence to established guidelines, and supporting reporting processes.

• Support senior team members by providing insightful analysis and suggestions that contribute towards achieving strategic goals in fund finance.

• Identify and refer cross sell opportunities associated with the portfolio

• Support and contribute to MUFG Fund Finance distribution activities.

• Complete general administration tasks related to the fund finance portfolio, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of seven years’ experience in corporate or structured lending within the banking or finance industry is essential

• At least two years’ direct exposure to fund finance transactions would be an advantage 

• Demonstrated experience engaging effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

• Strong understanding of core banking lending principles

• Proven ability to write balanced and comprehensive credit papers

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline

• Strong financial acumen combined with commercial awareness

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
