1 year Contract Procurement/ Purchasing Executive (Healthcare) #HCG

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist in forecasting medication requirements and managing purchase plans.
• Liaise with approved suppliers and wholesalers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.
• Consolidate purchase requests from clinics and medical centres.
• Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs) through the ERP system.
• Monitor stock levels and medication usage to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive medications.
• Support urgent medication repacking and distribution when required.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records for audits and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate product recalls and report medication quality issues when necessary.
• Reconcile purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and goods received records.
• Process Goods Received Notes (GRN) accurately in the ERP system.
• Prepare procurement reports and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Work closely with Finance and Operations teams on procurement-related matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
