Freight Forwarding Executive

Salary: $3,500 - $4,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm

Location: Clementi

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import and export shipments, mainly sea freight operations
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines, freight agents, and logistics partners
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and related documents
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide timely updates to customers
• Liaise with customers, carriers, transport providers, and relevant parties to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Support air freight operations and documentation when required
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import/export regulations
• Resolve shipment issues and operational discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide quality customer service

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics coordination, or import/export operations preferred
• Knowledge of sea freight operations is preferred; air freight exposure will be an advantage
• Familiar with shipping documentation and import/export procedures
• Good communication, coordination, and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
