Operations Executive (Transport)

Salary: $3,200 – $3,800

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Location: Jurong East

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Assign and deploy drivers and vehicles efficiently.
• Monitor delivery progress and vehicle movements using GPS tracking systems.
• Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, plant operators, and shipping agents on delivery arrangements.
• Handle operational issues and urgent delivery requests.
• Monitor vessel movements through Portnet and Jurong Port systems.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Prepare and verify transport, shipping, and delivery documents.
• Process Proof of Delivery (POD) and maintain accurate records.
• Manage driver scheduling, deployment, and trip reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in rotational standby duties when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, transport operations, delivery scheduling, or fleet coordination.
• Good understanding of transport and logistics operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Portnet, Jurong Port systems, GPS tracking, or transport management systems will be an advantage.
• Willing to participate in rotational standby duties.
