Admin - Coating

Brief Summary (of the role):

Maintain, manage, distribute and control materials inventory in the Coating & Cementing Departments

Procurement: Coordinated coating material, asset maintenance, and operational consumable replenishments; generated baseline Purchase Request (PR) and incoming Goods Receipt.

Vendor: Request quotation from supplier.

Inventory: Maintained visual assessments ofmanufacturing schedules against available inventories to identify componentshortfalls early and executed standard monthly warehouse physical counts.

Job Description (of the role):

• Maintain, monitor and control materials inventory, stock check and store movement.
• Liaise with vendors on purchase of goods, negotiate for discounts and monitor delivery lead time.
• Raise PR for coating materials, consumables, spare parts for department
• Monitoring and updating SDS, TDS & COA document files
• Ensure the department is clean and update 5S regulation standards.
• To follow safety rules and regulation.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• GCE 'O' Levels, Nitec/Higher Nitec / Certificate in Technical education in an engineering discipline with basic written and oral English.
• Minimum two years of operational experience in manufacturing environment

Skills & Abilities Required:

• Competent in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Self-motivated with positive attitude, working in a fast-paced environment
