Centre Manager (Tuition Centre, Jurong West) — BasicCommission

Cambridge Learning Group (CLG) is a Primary–Secondary tuition centre at 491 Jurong West Ave 1.

We are hiring our first Centre Manager to run daily operations, lead our tutor team, and build a brand-new Sunday revenue stream.

This is not a front-desk job. You will run the whole centre, report directly to the founder, and have real autonomy to manage your responsibilities without being micromanaged. You run one centre and grow the student base along with founder and teaching team.


What You Will Own

• Build a new Sunday revenue stream — launch and fill 24 Sunday classes (recruit part-time tutors, enrol students). This is our single biggest growth opportunity and your flagship KPI.
• Lead a team of part-time tutors across Maths, English, Science, Chinese and Principles of Accounts — scheduling, briefings, weekly huddles, performance check-ins.
• Manage the parent experience: WhatsApp queue, monthly check-in calls, complaint resolution, renewals.
• Run lead and inquiry follow-up — own the conversion funnel.
• Coordinate holiday programmes (June Bootcamp, Year-End Intensives) and assessment cycles.
• Run classroom utilisation and student retention as weekly KPIs.
• Work directly with the founder on monthly and quarterly growth initiatives.

What We Offer

• Probation (months 1–3): $2,700 – $2,800 basic salary.
  Confirmation salary
  $3,000 – $3,500 depending on demonstrated performance during probation. Bonus and commission do not apply during probation — focus is on learning the operations and centre SOP.
  
• Operations bonus and Commission after confirmation: tied to student retention, classroom fill rate.
  
• Two-phase working schedule:
  Months 1 to ~9:
  Mon–Fri 2pm–9pm, Sat 10am–7pm
  (44 hrs, 6-day week). You learn the existing operation and SOP.
  
  After Sunday classes launch (8+ running):
  Wed–Fri 1pm–9pm, Sat & Sun 10am–7pm
  (42 hrs, 5-day week with Mon & Tue off).
  You wil transit to 5-day week and build the Sunday classes.
  
• Direct mentorship from the founder + exposure to real-time operation strategies and participate in marketing promotion planning.
• Real ownership and a clear path to senior leadership as the centre grows.
• 14 days leave total (7 flexible annual leave + 7 bonus days during our December lull).

You Are a Fit If You:

• Have 3+ years in operations, office management, or centre management roles (education sector strongly preferred).
• Communicate clearly with parents in English plus one of: Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil.
• Are organised enough to track 100+ students and a tutor roster without dropping balls.
• Can hold a tutor accountable without being a pushover.
• Are comfortable with WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, and learning AI-assisted tools.
• Are Singaporean or PR.
