CLEANING SUPERVISOR

Roles & Responsibilities

The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations at assigned client locations such as public areas, offices, commercial buildings, and factories. The role includes supervising cleaners, ensuring service quality, maintaining cleaning standards, inspecting work areas, and providing training to staff.**

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff across assigned sites.

Plan daily cleaning schedules and allocate work to cleaners.

Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used properly and safely.

Handle client feedback, requests, and service issues promptly.

Conduct site risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed.

Provide on-the-job training and performance evaluations for cleaning staff.

Monitor attendance, prepare duty rosters, and submit reports to management.

Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed.

Assist in deep cleaning tasks when required.

Follow company SOPs, site regulations, and MOM cleaning requirements (where applicable).

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team supervision skills.

Knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning methods, tools, and chemicals.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple cleaning sites.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Understanding of workplace safety (WSH) & hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum Secondary/ITI or Diploma in relevant field (preferred but optional).

Experience in facilities management or cleaning industry is an advantage.

WSQ certification in cleaning/environmental services is added benefit.
