Clinical Laboratory Assistant #HDC

Step into the healthcare industry and support essential laboratory operations through accurate testing, specimen handling, and quality documentation. This role provides valuable exposure to multiple laboratory disciplines while contributing to efficient diagnostic services.

Responsibilities:
• Assist laboratory technical teams with daily laboratory operations and testing activities
• Perform laboratory procedures across pre-analytical and post-analytical phases
• Prepare, process, and handle biological samples/specimens according to established protocols
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and ensure accurate documentation of results
• Record, retrieve, and maintain laboratory data and reports accurately
• Support sample processing, administrative tasks, and general laboratory coordination
• Ensure proper identification, confidentiality, and handling of patient-related information
• Maintain laboratory equipment, workstations, and inventory to support smooth operations
• Follow laboratory procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Provide support across various departments including Microbiology, Hematology, Blood Banking, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cytotechnology

Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or equivalent qualifications
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical accuracy
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to adapt to rotational assignments across different laboratory departments
