Community Engagement Associate/Executive/Assistant Manager

Purpose of the Job

Assist Centre Manager to implement eldercare project in the Active Ageing Centre. Engage and outreach to stakeholders and members of public actively. Plan and organize good varieties of activities and programmes for active ageing services and inter-generational programmes. 

Key responsibility areas:

• Conduct regular individual or partnering home visits to private and HDB residents.
• Maintain good records of home visits, attendances of clients and manage activity calendar.
• Assessments of seniors with screening tools and conduct mind-stimulating activities.
• Ensure and follow up on seniors’ participation in planned programs.
• Refer seniors to appropriate services in financial and counseling, providing support and escalation of urgent cases.
• Assist in the planning, coordinating and organising of outreach and public education events to the general public.
• Perform good office skills including documentation management, inventory checks and housekeeping
• Submission of reports, claims, documentations or statistics to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in developing outreach and corporate communication materials (e.g. signages, posters, banners, collaterals, messages or emails) for mass communications.
• Maintain PDPA and centre operational matters in confidentiality.
• Assist in administration duties as requires.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Manager/Management.

Required qualifications and experience (Community Engagement Executive)

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work or related Allied Health discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare or senior care centre setting.
• Proficient in planning activities and programmes with outreaching experience
• Proficient in MS Applications like Excel, Words, Powerpoint.

• Minimum O levels with relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in planning activities and programmes with outreaching experience.
• Proficient in MS Applications like Excel, Words, Powerpoint.
• Ability to travel to residential homes is a must and meet engagement KPIs.

• A self-starter with good coordination and organisation skills.
• Patient and tactful with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop, organize and execute communication materials for the programmes.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese (and/or local dialects) to effectively engage seniors and community stakeholders.
• Ability to do good translation in both English and Chinese languages.
• A good team player.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of information in relations to AAC, staff, clients and stakeholders.
• Able to manage all enquiries in a professional manner.
