Co-ordinator, Community Enablement

Job Description:

We are seeking a community worker to support the execution of Game-On with CARE, a community project by CARE Singapore focusing on Digital Wellbeing. The project is funded by IMDA under the Digital for Life Initiative and operates at the national level.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of this community project in areas such as community outreach and logistics, and may be groomed to deliver talks to large audiences or conduct workshops and seminars.

Content Development

- Support development of content and materials for talks and seminars

- Provide insights into research and co-develop strategies for effective engagement of the different age groups.

- Support creation of materials for training of volunteer leaders via TTT

Partnerships

- Provide support for outreach activities to Schools and IHLs.

- Manage mailings and event preparation for activities planned for Schools and IHLs, or volunteers

Administration

- Responsible for the collation of data and information for timely reporting to IMDA based on reporting requirements

- Support the team to ensure that name lists of attendees and data needed for any other supporting documents are captured and stored securely.

- Manage and maintain a database of members who sign up

Job Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree

- 2 years of working experience in managing projects or volunteers preferred

- Interest in supporting the mental wellness of young people.

- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for basic design and content creation

- Able to work on some weekends to support programme delivery
