CPT Controller / Site Admin

We are looking for a CPT Controller / Site Admin Assistant who will be able to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Drilling & Grouting team on site, ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations by maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, processing documentation, and monitoring key operational indicators.

Job Description:

Inventory Management

• Conduct CPT testing during the initial learning stage.
• Process and analyse CPT data.
• Manage and coordinate CPT equipment and accessories on assigned project sites, including
• CPT inventory control
• Guide and train junior CPT operators and helpers; advise new engineers on CPT equipment and report interpretation.
• Troubleshoot CPT systems (GeoMil).
• Review and update M5 results, highlighting any non compliance issues to supervisors and
• operators.
• Support and coordinate QA/QC activities for assigned projects.
• Perform administrative duties, including preparing material requests, applying for site passes, closing RFIs, applying for safety permits, and updating Risk Assessments (RA).
• Plan CPT schedules and coordinate CPT rig utilisation.
• Arrange and prepare Plate Load Tests and assist engineers in preparing Load Test reports.
• Prepare and update site documentation, including daily reports, master lists, production records, and site diaries.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
• Handle all paperwork preparation and issuance to internal and external parties (e.g. material requisitions, purchase orders) and liaise with requestors until delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Professional Degree or Diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with site management software is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a construction, civil engineering, or geotechnical environment.
• Experience handling procurement documentation, invoicing, and regulatory submissions.
• Comfortable working in a construction site office environment.
