Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager (Administration) to oversee the company's administrative operations and support senior management in driving organisational efficiency. This is a senior leadership role suited to a seasoned professional with a strong track record in corporate administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall administration function, including office management, facilities, asset management, and workplace safety to ensure operational excellence
  • Develop and implement administrative policies, systems, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency and compliance
  • Collaborate with the General Manager/CEO to plan and execute strategic business initiatives that align with organisational goals
  • Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to maintain smooth daily operations and effective communication
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the administration team, including conducting performance management to enhance team capabilities
  • Liaise with government agencies, landlords, vendors, and external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Plan and coordinate corporate events, board meetings, and VIP arrangements to support organisational activities and stakeholder engagement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • 15–20 years of relevant experience in administration or corporate services, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Prior experience as Deputy GM or Director of Administration in a mid-to-large sized organisation is highly preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, organisational, and crisis-management skills demonstrated through leadership roles
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with proven capacity to manage and develop teams
  • Proven experience in building and improving administrative systems and frameworks to support business growth
