Job Summary

The Discipline Support Officer (DSO) will collaborate with school staff to support the Student Development Committee by strengthening discipline, supervising students, managing discipline follow-up, and promoting a supportive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent adult presence by supervising and monitoring campus areas to maintain student safety and discipline
• Support the implementation of school routines to enhance school culture and improve the overall tone of the environment
• Document and process discipline matters promptly to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
• Conduct and assist in investigations related to student behaviour to uphold school discipline standards
• Manage detention, in-house suspension, and other behaviour-related follow-up actions effectively
• Promote a culture of care by balancing student accountability with support for their growth and wellbeing
• Facilitate student reflection and restoration to strengthen Teacher–Student Relationships (TSR) and encourage positive behaviour
