Drafter/ Quanity Surveyor

Job Summary

You will prepare and update technical drawings, perform quantity measurements, and assist in cost estimation to support project execution and coordination at Hardscapes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD to support project design and execution
• Interpret engineering and construction drawings to produce accurate drafting and quantity take-offs
• Perform quantity measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to inform project costing
• Assist in cost estimation, quotation preparation, and tender documentation to facilitate project bidding
• Perform basic technical calculations to verify project requirements and specifications
• Coordinate drawing submissions and revisions with engineers and project teams to ensure alignment
• Maintain and organize project drawings, BOQ, and technical documents for easy retrieval and reference
• Track project progress and assist with project coordination and reporting to support timely delivery
• Ensure drawings and quantities comply with project specifications and standards to maintain quality

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D drafting)
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings
• Experience in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation
• Ability to perform basic technical calculations
• Good organizational and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Drafting, or related field
