Driver cum Logistics Assistant (Class 3)

To provide safe, reliable and timely collection and delivery of aerospace parts, components, materials and documents between customer facilities and SETSCO premises while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Collection and Delivery Services

• Perform daily collection and delivery of aerospace parts, components, materials and documents.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify delivery documentation before collection and handover.
• Obtain customer acknowledgements and signatures when required.

Logistics Support

• Assist in packing, labelling and preparation of items for transportation.
• Verify quantities and condition of goods prior to dispatch.
• Support inventory movement and internal logistics activities.

Loading and Unloading

• Load and unload goods safely and securely.
• Use appropriate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and lifting aids.
• Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use.
• Monitor fuel levels, tyre condition, lights, brakes and vehicle cleanliness.
• Report accidents, defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure company vehicle remains in a safe, roadworthy and clean condition.

Compliance and Safety

• Comply with all company safety requirements, SOPs and safe work procedures.
• Follow all Singapore traffic regulations and company driving policies.
• Practice defensive driving techniques at all times.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and delivery records.

Customer Service

• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
• Maintain courteous and positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Escalate customer concerns or delivery issues promptly.

Other Duties

• Support operational activities as assigned by supervisors.
• Assist other departments during peak operational periods.

Requirements

Essential

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Minimum 3 years of local delivery driving experience.
• Good driving record with no major traffic offences.
• Physically fit to perform loading and unloading activities.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.

Preferred

• Experience supporting aerospace or industrial clients.
• Familiarity with Changi / Loyang Aerospace Cluster, Seletar Aerospace Park and major industrial zones.
• Experience handling aerospace, engineering or sensitive equipment.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 6:00pm
• Overtime may be required to support operational requirements.
