Role Overview:We are a growing Construction SME seeking an ambitious, high-potential Business Development Assistant Manager (Management Trainee) to join our commercial team. This entry-level position is specifically structured for fresh graduates or individuals with no prior experience who want to build a long-term career in the Singapore built environment. You will receive comprehensive, structured on-the-job training, working directly under senior management to learn the ins and outs of construction tendering, client management, and commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities (Training Provided):
Tender Support: Assist senior managers in identifying public and private sector project opportunities. Learn to prepare, compile, and submit competitive tender and pre-qualification documents.
Client Coordination: Act as a secondary point of contact for developers, consultants, and main contractors. Help arrange project meetings and maintain corporate relationship logs.
Commercial Learning: Shadow our Quantity Surveying (QS) team to understand project costing, variations, and how the Security of Payment (SOP) Act applies to site progress claims.
Market Research: Conduct basic market analysis on upcoming infrastructure pipelines and track shifting Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations.
Job Requirements:
Education: Good to Possess a recognized Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Engineering, Building, Business, or Communications preferred).
Attributes: Energetic, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse on-site and corporate stakeholders.
Experience: None required. Candidates who have completed internship attachments within the construction or real estate sectors will have an added advantage.
