Job Description - Executive/Senior Business Development Executive (Bid and Tender)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive/Senior Business Development Executive (Bid & Tender) to join our team in Singapore office. As a Executive/Senior Business Development Executive, you will play pivotal role in the bidding process, ensuring alignment with organisation objectives and driving growth opportunities through strategic bid management.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Find and pre-qualify tender opportunities in sites e.g. GeBIZ, Ariba, newspaper, websites
  • Preparing and reviewing bid documents, such as proposals, technical specifications, drawings, timeline schedules, budgets, etc.
  • Coordinating and managing the bid submission process, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines; including post-submission follow ups
  • Liaising and negotiating with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the bidding process
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and clients
  • Assist in the development of strategic solutioning for the client in line with requirements of RFP/ Tender
  • Providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of the bidding process and performance

Ideal candidate should have

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Survey, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least two years of relevant experience in bidding for government-related projects in the built environment. Candidate with more experience will be considered for senior role.
  • Familiar with the process of government-related projects bids within the built environment; including tender submissions and evaluation.
  • Possess positive work attitude, drive, and resilience to meet job challenges.
  • Possess analytical and detail-oriented thought process.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market, regulations, policies and procedures for government tenders and contracts will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with corporate functions team to maintain the tender's database
