FREIGHT OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

POSITION SUMMARY

Singapore freight forwarder handling 100–300 TEU/month across Asia-Pacific export trades is hiring a Freight Operations Executive to manage the export desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handle full cycle of FCL, LCL, and air export shipments: bookings, documentation, pre-alerts, and ETA management

- Prepare and verify shipping documents: Bill of Lading, AWB, Certificate of Origin, packing list, commercial invoice

- Submit TradeNet declarations and manage e-permits

- Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and air consolidators for slot bookings, equipment release, and rate confirmations

- Track shipments end-to-end: vessel cut-offs, gate-in, sailings, transhipment, arrival

- Resolve operational issues including container damage, customs queries, D&D disputes, and document amendments

- Liaise with carrier customer service, sales, and trade management teams on operational and rate matters

- Maintain shipment records, GP tracking, and operational KPIs

- Support customer enquiries with timely status updates

REQUIREMENTS

─────────────────────────────────────────────────────

- 3–5 years freight forwarding operations experience in Singapore

- Hands-on experience across FCL, LCL, and air export documentation and procedures

- Proficient in TradeNet and e-permit submission

- Working knowledge of Incoterms 2020, customs procedures, and standard freight forwarding systems

- Strong follow-up discipline and ownership

- Diploma or equivalent practical experience

- Proficient in spoken and written in Mandarin is required as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Salary: S$2,500 – S$3,000/month

- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS): 1 month

- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 6:00pm

- Location: Kembangan Plaza (opposite Kembangan MRT)
