Job Description - HR and Compliance Executive

You’ll join a supportive team where hands‑on training and growth opportunities are part of how we help you succeed. As our HR and Compliance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing our HR and compliance functions.

Your Role
As the Compliance and Operations Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting compliance adherence at our brokerage, as well as managing key operations in HR, marketing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • MAS Compliance: Managing the Appointed Representative (AR) notifications and ensuring all broking staff meet the "Fit and Proper" criteria.
  • Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for the external compliance vendor You will coordinate regular reviews to ensure internal policies (such as AML/CFT and Fair Dealing) are strictly aligned with the latest regulatory updates.
  • Licensing & Exams: Tracking mandatory certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI) and ensuring Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours are completed annually.
  • AML/CFT: Conducting Due Diligence and KYC (Know Your Customer) checks on clients and business partners.
  • Audit Support: Preparing documentation for MAS on-site inspections and internal audits.
  • HR Operations: Managing recruitment, work passes (EP/SPass), and payroll, but always through the lens of regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in HR and/or Compliance is a good-to-have —preferably in insurance or financial services sector.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements would be an advantage or willingness to acquire the relevant knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital office systems.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
