Job Description - HR cum Admin Assistant

HR cum Admin Assistant

We are looking for a proactive, organised and trustworthy HR cum Admin Assistant who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Human Resources. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, takes initiative and is able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

This role offers valuable hands-on exposure across a broad range of HR and office administration functions, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in Human Resources within a dynamic beauty industry environment.

Job Responsibilities :

Human Resources

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interview coordination and onboarding of new employees.

  • Prepare employment contracts, HR letters and other employee-related documentation.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.

  • Administer employee attendance, leave, probation, confirmation and other HR documentation.

  • Process Work Permit applications, renewals, cancellations and other employment pass administration.

  • Coordinate employee orientation, training, staff engagement activities and company events.

  • Respond to day-to-day HR and employee enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Support HR operations and perform general HR administrative duties, excluding payroll processing.

Office Administration

  • Manage office stationery, pantry supplies, uniforms and general office inventory.

  • Source products from local and overseas suppliers (including online platforms such as Taobao), compare quotations and coordinate purchases.

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of office and operational supplies.

  • Maintain organised filing systems, office records and documentation.

  • Provide administrative support to Management and assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related discipline.

  • At least 1 year of HR or administrative experience is preferred. Candidates with a keen interest in Human Resources and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
