HR Executive — Alchemist Singapore

At Alchemist, we believe great coffee starts with great people. As we continue to grow across Singapore, Japan, and Taiwan, we are looking for an HR Executive who is ready to own the people function — from finding the right talent to making sure our team is supported, paid accurately, and set up to thrive.

This is a hands-on, generalist role at the heart of a fast-growing F&B brand. You will work closely with our operations and functional teams across Alchemist Singapore, making a direct impact on how we grow and retain our people.

What you will do

Talent Acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across all levels — from job posting and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and offer management

• Conduct interviews and assess candidates in partnership with hiring managers

• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and all onboarding documentation

• Support work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with MOM regulations

Onboarding & Offboarding

• Coordinate and facilitate employee orientation to ensure every new joiner feels welcomed, informed, and set up for success from day one

• Manage the full offboarding process including exit clearance and documentation

Payroll & HR Operations

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, allowances, and statutory contributions (CPF, IRAS)

• Verify timesheets, rosters, and leave records across multiple outlets via our HR systems

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records digitally across all HR platforms

• Administer employee benefits including insurance and government-paid leave claims

People Support

• Prepare HR correspondence including confirmation letters, employment letters, and other documentation

• Coordinate training registrations with internal and external vendors

• Serve as a reliable point of contact for HR queries from employees and management across all levels

Regional Attendance Support

• Assist in monitoring and tracking attendance records for Alchemist Taiwan and Alchemist Japan

• Highlight discrepancies and escalate accordingly to ensure accurate records across markets

What we are looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent

• Minimum 1–2 years of HR generalist experience — F&B or hospitality background is a strong advantage

• Hands-on payroll experience with familiarity in HR systems such as Talenox, Deputy, and/or Excel-based processing

• Solid working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM, CPF, and IRAS requirements

• Someone who is organised, meticulous, and takes ownership without needing to be chased

• Comfortable working independently in a lean team and across all levels of the organisation
