HR Manager Job Scope

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

* Develop recruitment strategies.

* Prepare and approve job descriptions.

* Advertise vacancies and source candidates.

* Conduct interviews and select suitable candidates.

* Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.

2. Employee Relations

* Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

* Advise management on HR policies and employment issues.

* Promote a positive workplace culture.

* Resolve workplace conflicts.

3. Performance Management

* Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.

* Set KPIs with department heads.

* Conduct performance reviews.

* Recommend promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.

4. Compensation & Benefits

* Review salary structures and benefits.

* Conduct salary benchmarking.

* Manage annual salary reviews and bonuses.

* Oversee payroll with the HR or Finance team.

5. Learning & Development

* Identify training needs.

* Plan employee training and development programmes.

* Monitor staff career progression.

* Support leadership development initiatives.

6. HR Policies & Compliance

* Develop and update employee handbooks and HR policies.

* Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws.

* Handle workplace investigations when necessary.

* Maintain confidentiality of employee records.

7. Work Pass & Government Matters (Singapore)

* Manage applications and renewals for Employment Pass, S Pass, and Work Permits.

* Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower on employment matters.

* Ensure compliance with CPF, leave, and statutory requirements.

8. Employee Engagement

* Organize company events and team-building activities.

* Conduct employee engagement surveys.

* Improve employee satisfaction and retention.

9. HR Administration

* Maintain employee records.

* Manage leave, attendance, and HR systems.

* Prepare HR reports and manpower statistics.

* Oversee exit interviews and offboarding.

10. Strategic HR Planning

* Develop manpower planning strategies.

* Prepare HR budgets.

* Advise management on organizational structure.

* Support business growth through workforce planning.
