Human Resources Cum Accounts Officer

Job Summary

Manage HR and accounting functions including payroll preparation, accounting entries, bank reconciliation, and renewal follow-ups to support smooth business operations in a Bukit Batok office environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with senior staff in Mandarin to facilitate smooth information exchange
• Manage email correspondence related to HR and accounting matters promptly and professionally
• Record and process accounting entries for incoming and outgoing payments to maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare bi-monthly and monthly payroll for all staff, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement
• Follow up on necessary renewals such as vehicle inspection, insurance, road tax, season parking, and foreign worker work permits to maintain compliance
• Apply company leave policies, ensuring leave applications are submitted at least three weeks in advance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using accounting software and handling HR administrative tasks

Other Information

• Location: Bukit Batok
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm; alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm
• Benefits: Annual leave and holidays as per MOM regulations and company policy
• Salary: Starting at $2,800 before confirmation; $3,000 after confirmation; increments based on company performance
