Job Summary
Support the Assistant Operations Manager in leading transportation operations across Singapore, Johor, and West Malaysia, ensuring service excellence and operational growth in WTS Travel’s premium and niche transport segments.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily transportation operations for Fly-Ferry Multi-Modal Services, Corporate Charters, cross-border services, and specialised transport such as seacrew transfers
Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 drivers to deliver exceptional passenger experiences on WTS Travel’s buses and services
Coordinate with outsourced vendors to ensure timely vehicle supply and maintain vehicle readiness and compliance
Drive frontline staff performance to meet and exceed sales targets through active leadership and motivation
Collaborate on operational improvement initiatives to support WTS Travel’s expansion in hospitality, tourism, and ancillary travel services
Manage shift schedules and ensure coverage during weekends and public holidays with appropriate compensation arrangements
Required competencies and certifications
Certificate or Diploma relevant to the role
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in service operations within transport, logistics, aviation, or related service industries
Proficient in using computer applications and systems to support operational tasks
Knowledge of transport operations, airport operations, customer service, client and vendor management, business development, technology systems, and project management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Working knowledge of resource management systems
Immediate availability to commence work
Residence in central and/or eastern Singapore for convenient access to Changi Airport work location
Other Information
Working hours are in two shifts: 7:00am–4:30pm and/or 9:30am–7:00pm, with 2 days off per week
Ability to work weekends and public holidays with off-in-lieu or time-off compensation
