procurement executive

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage purchasing and sourcing activities for a carpentry factory. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring timely procurement to support factory operations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Source and purchase materials, hardware, and supplies required for factory operations and projects

Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms

Compare quotations and evaluate supplier performance and cost efficiency

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment

Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records and documentation

Coordinate with production, project, and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability

Track deliveries and resolve supply or delivery issues when necessary

Maintain good relationships with suppliers and identify alternative sourcing options

Assist management with procurement planning and cost control

Requirements

Diploma or relevant qualifications preferred

Minimum 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience

Experience in carpentry, interior design, construction, or manufacturing industry is an advantage

Good negotiation and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Strong organisational and coordination abilities

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
