Job Overview
This role supports community-focused programmes that work closely with families in need. You will be involved in coordination, administration, and day-to-day support for outreach activities, helping ensure smooth delivery of services and engagement with families and volunteers.
The role is suited for someone who is organised, people-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift depending on programme needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support coordination of community outreach and family engagement activities, including scheduling visits and appointments
Assist in maintaining records such as case notes, attendance tracking, and programme updates
Help with day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks for ongoing programmes and volunteer activities
Support communication and follow-ups with families and relevant stakeholders
Assist in compiling information for reporting and progress tracking
Provide support for events, outreach sessions, and engagement initiatives
Handle ad-hoc tasks as required by the team
Requirements
Genuine interest in supporting vulnerable or lower-income communities, with a respectful and empathetic approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with different groups of people in a professional and tactful manner
Comfortable with administrative work and using Microsoft Office tools and common communication platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams, messaging apps)
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Able to stay calm and effective in a busy environment with shifting priorities
Team-oriented and willing to support wherever needed
Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related fields is preferred but not required
Bilingual ability (English plus Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or dialects) will be an advantage
Job Details
Salary: $3,340 per month
Nearest MRT: Sembawang MRT Station/Woodlands MRT Station
Working Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday)
8.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)
Contract Duration: 12 months
