Project executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Gallery Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role indeveloping and executing various gallery projects, including exhibitions, art fairs, events, and external collaborations. Working closely with our operations and marketing colleagues, this role will focus on the smooth execution of these projects, aligned with the gallery’s strategic vision and direction from the directors and curators. This position requires a strong foundation in project management, and training will be provided for candidates who have limited experience in the Singapore art scene.

Key Responsibilities:

-         Plan, develop, and oversee the execution of a variety of gallery programs such as art fairs, exhibitions, events, and collaborations with external partners.

-         Develop project timelines, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

-         Oversee daily gallery operations, ensuring smooth functioning and a high-quality visitor experience.

-         Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, invoicing, and documentation related to gallery projects.

-         Prepare detailed project reports, including budget tracking, financial reporting, and post-event analysis.

-         Support the gallery's sales initiatives by identifying potential clients and assisting with artwork salesand acquisitions.

Requirements:

-         3-5 years of relevant experience in any operation environment.

-         Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

-         Demonstrated interest in Singapore, Southeast Asian and/or Asian heritage and culture is a plus.

-         Prior experience in project management and operations is advantageous.

-         Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
