We are looking for a people-oriented, hands-on and highly organised Recruitment & Worker Welfare Coordinator to join our growing Operations team at Semiko Manpower Services Pte Ltd.
This is not a desk-bound role. You will be the bridge between Semiko and our frontline cleaning and kitchen staff — recruiting the right people, visiting them at their work centres, understanding their on-ground experience and using those insights to continuously strengthen our talent pipeline.

Job Responsibilities
Sourcing & Recruitment
Source, screen and recruit frontline cleaning, kitchen and support staff for permanent, part-time and relief assignments
Post job advertisements across platforms and manage an active candidate database
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for regular and urgent manpower needs
Candidate Engagement
Conduct phone and WhatsApp interviews to assess candidates' suitability, availability, salary expectations and preferred work locations
Follow up promptly with applicants and maintain regular communication throughout the hiring process
Centre Visits & Worker Welfare
Conduct regular visits to deployed staff at their work centres to check on well-being and gather feedbac
Build relationships with frontline staff to better understand their needs and concerns
Use ground-level insights to identify recruitment gaps and improve sourcing strategies
Onboarding & Deployment
Arrange interviews, trial assignments and deployment schedules
Conduct basic on-site orientation and guide new staff on job duties, work procedures and expectations
Coordinate closely with the Operations Team to fulfil urgent manpower requests
Pipeline Development
Actively build and maintain a ready pool of candidates to support both planned and last-minute staffing needs
Use insights from site visits and worker interactions to continuously improve recruitment and retention approaches
HR & Administrative Support
Maintain accurate worker records and attendance data
Support timesheet collection and basic HR administration
Communicate professionally with workers, clients and internal team members
Requirements
Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and WhatsApp messages daily.
Willing and able to travel to different work sites in Singapore.
Must be comfortable providing on-site guidance and handling frontline workers.
Hands-on, patient, firm and able to manage different personalities.
Strong follow-up skills and a good sense of urgency.
Able to work independently and coordinate closely with the Operations Team.
Responsible, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual in Englisah and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking workers and candidates)
Advantage (not required):
Prior recruitment, manpower coordination, staffing, cleaning, F&B, logistics, healthcare support or frontline operations experience is preferred.
Knowledge of MOM requirements, work passes, timesheets, attendance systems or HR software will be an advantage.
This is a hands-on role involving frequent worker calls, WhatsApp follow-ups and regular site visits. It is suitable for candidates who enjoy a balance of recruitment, worker engagement, site visits and operational coordination.
