Job Title: Sales & Store Assistant (Feline Salon & Boutique)

Employment Type: Full-Time (5-day work week)

Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM

Schedule: Must be able to work on Weekends and Public Holidays (PH).

Store Closure: The store is closed only on the 1st and 2nd day of Hari Raya, Hari Raya and the 1st day of the New Year (1st January).

Eligibility: Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PR) only

About the Role

Are you obsessed with cats and thrive in a dynamic, customer-facing environment? We are looking for a tech-savvy, highly organized, and compassionate Sales & Store Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our shop, ensuring our human clients receive stellar service while our feline guests receive the highest standard of love and care. You must genuinely love cats, possess basic knowledge of feline behavior, and be ready to jump in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Client Relations: Handle reception duties, greet clients, answer inquiries promptly, and manage sales transactions.

• Feline Care: Assist in taking care of our in-house and clients' cats, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well-attended to.

• Grooming Support: Be ready and willing to assist our professional groomers only when required. You will be trained.

• Store Operations & Admin: Manage basic administrative tasks, keep track of inventory (stock-taking), and handle day-to-day shop housekeeping to maintain a pristine environment.

• Content & Tech: Use your digital skills to take photos of our feline guests, liaise with customers online, and use basic tools like Excel and design platforms (e.g., Canva/Capcut) for simple store collaterals.

Requirements

• Animal Lovers Only: Must have a genuine love, patience, gentleness, and compassion for cats and all animals. Basic knowledge of cat care or behavior is required.

• Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Proficient in basic office applications (Excel), AI softwares and comfortable using digital tools or printing equipment. You must also have a willingness and ability to pick up and learn other operational softwares as required. You will be guided.

• Availability: Flexible and fully committed to working weekends and public holidays.

• Soft Skills: A friendly, approachable personality with excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Resilience & Teamwork: A strong team player who can handle fast-paced retail pressure with grace and patience.

  Language Proficiency: Good written and spoken English is required.
  As a large percentage of our regular clientele are Malay-speaking, proficiency in spoken and written Malay is highly preferred to effectively assist them. Knowledge of Tamil/Mandarin/Chinese dialects is a welcome bonus.
